How To Decorate An Off Center Fireplace

I fell difficult for our Sugariness Honey Cottage. I knew I wanted to alive in it afterwards being within for five minutes. Blinded by cottage beloved, I had no clue some of the decor challenges that would lie ahead.

I of the first challenges was decorating an off eye fireplace wall. I love a beautiful, deep mantel. Mine is a whopping 7″ deep. The fireplace is off heart in the wall as well. The firebox is over to one finish of the mantel. So at that place is no way this symmetrical girl is going to get the look that matched the image in my head!

In this layered expect, I chose a baby crib spring as a base of operations on the wall. I centered it on the wall first and used that to centre and balance the decor higher up the mantel. An old door, a large framed shiplap piece or naught at all.

The simple look is exactly that. No ane would e'er accuse me of not showing enough decor. Every now and so, tho, I need a pause. Here is my simple wait recipe: take three large frames, fill up with three big posters of the same theme and space evenly along your mantel. Nail and DONE!
