Facility Details

Rome Tennis Center at Berry Higher (RTCBC) opened in 2016 and features 57-courts on a 30 acre site. The site is comprised of USTA standard, asphalt tennis courts, 6 NCAA regulation courts, half dozen indoor courts and 3 centre courts for tournament and collegiate play. All courts have lighting and access to shade structures.

The terraced design provides ADA accessibility to all courts and has wider entry ways to accommodate sport chairs for wheelchair tennis.

The 3,966-square-foot, lodge-like clubhouse is a focal point of the facility. One central element of the clubhouse is the 2,656 sq. ft. tennis porch that overlooks "main issue" courts and NCAA-regulation courts. Just upon visiting the site can one appreciate the spectacular, panoramic view that is afforded from the porch.

The indoor facility was completed in 2020 and boasts 6 indoor hard courts available for play. The 51,063 foursquare foot facility is conditioned for play to stay cooler in the summertime and warmer in the winter. With seating for just over 400 spectators the indoor eye is ready to host to events and tournaments for all levels of play.

Pinnacle Spin Terrace is a viewing deck that was added in 2021. It provides excellent views of the championships courts likewise an encompassing view of the facility and the rolling hills and trees that surround the site.
